The IT Administrative Support Specialist is responsible for managing the acquisition, documentation, and tracking of hardware, software, and peripheral equipment. This role includes coordinating purchases with resellers, maintaining accurate records of equipment and software inventories, and ensuring compliance with licensing and contract requirements. The coordinator will work closely with the IT Team to support new hires, retail store rollouts, and remote employees, ensuring they have the necessary equipment and supplies.  

The preferred candidate will be based at our Corporate Headquarters in?Laramie, WY.? 

 

*Key responsibilities include: *

  • Split time between performing 50% administrative support with the DOS team and 50% support for the helpdesk team. 
  • Providing support to O365 applications including Sharepoint, OneDrive, and Office Apps. Troubleshooting basic computer helpdesk tickets. 
  • Purchasing of new hardware equipment as requested by the DOS team for new hires. 
  • Document and update a list of what equipment is stored at each employee's location. 
  • Purchasing of new hardware. 
  • Coordinate with reseller for all purchases and assist with the execution of Purchase Orders through IT Vendor. 
  •  Documentation of all purchases. 
  • Tracking of all purchases and communication of tracking information. 
  • Inventory of software licenses to stay in compliance with employee count. 
  • Track software support contracts, hardware contracts, and certificates. 
  • Inventory peripherals and supplies and order more as needed. 
  • Coordination with new employees that includes ordering and shipping office equipment. 
  • Providing new hire training.  
  • Recommend procedure modifications or improvements. 
  • Ability to work independently using checklists/documentation. 
  • Maintain a high level of organization and keep common work areas neat and orderly.

*Our?DOS team is looking for someone?who has:? *

  • Being patient and empathetic, having a sense of urgency, getting along well with others, and being fast and accurate. 
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with team members. 
  • Good employment history with a demonstrated commitment to safe work practices. 
  • Initiative and motivation, with an emphasis on completing project deliverables on schedule.  
  • Dependable, with the ability to work in a team environment. 

*This position requires the following:? *

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Helpdesk, IT procurement, inventory management, or a similar role. 
  • Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and O365 applications 
  • Ability to work independently using checklists/documentation. 
  • Maintain a high level of organization and keep our common work areas neat and orderly. 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. 
  • A.S or B.S. in an information technology or related field.  
  • Experience with Windows 10, Microsoft Applications, and the O365 suite preferred.
