University of Wyoming and Subdivisions Pooled Position Limited Tempor- Digital Engagement Intern in Laramie, Wyoming

JOB TITLE:

Digital Engagement Intern

JOB PURPOSE:

Reporting to the Digital Engagement and Communication Coordinator, the Digital Engagement Intern's focus will be enhancing our social media presence, creating visual content, and contributing to our digital marketing efforts. This position is essential in driving our online engagement and supporting the marketing team in achieving our business objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Social Media Management

Assist in managing and updating the UWAA's social media platforms.

Monitor social media engagement metrics and provide insights to improve performance.

Assist in the development and execution of social media campaigns.

Content Creation

Develop engaging content for the UWAA's social media platforms.

Assist in writing articles for the AlumNews section of the UWYO magazine.

Photography and Photo Editing

Take high-quality photos for the UWAA's photo bank and social media channels.

Edit and enhance photos to align with the brand's visual standards.

SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:

Provide support for other marketing activities as needed.

Assist on miscellaneous projects and duties as directed.

REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY: This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's program in Marketing, Business, Communications, Photography, or a related field.

Experience: Experience managing social media platforms.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic understanding of digital marketing principles.

Proficiency in social media platforms.

Ability to take and edit high-quality photos.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong interpersonal, oral, digital, and written communication skills.

A commitment to high personal performance and teamwork.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple competing priorities with minimal oversight.
