Cage Manager Arizona Charlie’s Boulder (Las Vegas, NV)
Description:
Summary:
Responsible for the day to day operation and direct supervision of all activities within the Cage department. Ensure daily operations and experiences meet guest expectations. Appropriately respond to and manage any escalated departmental concerns and guest and/or employee challenges.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Hire, train, develop, measure performance, discipline, and schedule department staff
Lead the tactical execution of strategic initiatives under the direction of division leadership
Establish standards of service within assigned department(s) and ensure achievement
Monitor and control labor within the department while maintaining adequate coverage in the department based on business demands
Review and approve casino credit requests, ensure credit decisions are in compliance with the credit policy
Collect casino debts, review delinquent accounts, recommend write-off accounts
Maintain accountability of casino gaming chips, coin, currency, patron’s checks, forms, keys and records
Handle and resolve any escalated situations that may arise with guests
Review credit policy as instructed by executive management
Perform Title 31 training and institute periodic updates
Assist with development of the departmental operating budget
Report any monetary or procedural discrepancy to the Director of Cage and Credit in a timely manner
Possess knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal and state) and attendant regulations as well as internal controls, policies and procedures
Implement and ensure compliance with policies, procedures and internal controls
Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow employees
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications
3 years of experience working in casino cage environment
Previous cage leadership experience
Able to effectively communicate in small groups, as well as on an individual-basis
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Able to effectively present information and respond to questions
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and regulatory documents
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
Advanced computer skills
Must be at least 21 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred
Able to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
Verify right to work in the United States

Occasionally push/pull up to 15 lbs.
