Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be tasked with performing regulatory preventive maintenance work under management supervision. The maintenance technician is responsible for ensuring safety procedures are followed when performing modifications, set-ups, preventative maintenance, and movement of equipment. Your role is crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of our production equipment, with a specific focus on CNC machines.
Responsibilities
Perform regulatory preventive maintenance work under management supervision.
Ensure safety procedures are followed during modifications, set-ups, preventative maintenance, and movement of equipment.
Maintain the smooth operation of production equipment, focusing on CNC machines.
Perform maintenance on production and robotic equipment.
Conduct preventative maintenance on CNC machines and conveyor systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operational Procedures.
Essential Skills
3+ years of electrical experience.
5+ years in a mechanic role in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with preventive maintenance on CNC machines.
Understanding and working knowledge of pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic equipment.
Excellent electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of CNC equipment and PLC systems.
Knowledge of lock out-tag out procedures.
Ability to repair computerized machinery.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma.
Electrical certification preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within an organization.
Ability to manage various projects to completion.
Ability to operate a computer and CNC systems.
Ability to move safely around a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment
This is a fully on-site position in Las Vegas, Nevada. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, starting on the first shift from 5 am to 1:30 pm. Flexibility is required to work the second shift from 1:30 pm to 10 pm, as team rotation depends on business needs. The environment is a plant/manufacturing setting with loud machinery, heavy forklift traffic, and exposure to moving parts. Candidates must be comfortable in this setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00
