Description:
Summary:
Ensure that individuals entering the premises of the hotel/casino are checked for proper identification and dressed appropriately. Verify that all guests have a valid room key to access designated areas, adhering to operational and safety protocols. Provide a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable experience for all visitors, maintaining high standards of guest service and security. Consistently demonstrate prompt, courteous, and professional behavior when interacting with guests, vendors, and colleagues, following all safety procedures.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Ensure guests entering the Hotel/Casino lobbies are greeted
Perform ID Checks at casino entrances
Conduct checks for room keys when patrons attempt to enter the Hotel rooming areas
Effectively communicate directions
Keep work areas clean and presentable
Create a pleasurable experience through small talk and casual conversation with guests
Escort guests upon request to areas on property as appropriate
Accurately answer guests’ questions regarding the property, special events, and other Golden Entertainment products and services
Maintain familiarity with current life safety systems and emergency evacuation procedures, as well as procedures for handling uncooperative guests and potentially dangerous situations
Consistently follow all operating, safety and emergency evacuation procedures
Immediately notify Security Dispatch of any defective equipment and/or potential safety hazard(s) encountered
Operate two-way hand held radio to communicate with Security Dispatch, Officers, and/or Supervision any issues or suspicious persons attempting to access the building or rooming areas
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications
Previous experience in a high volume guest contact position
Previous experience interacting with guests without scripted conversation
Strong verbal communication
Able to maintain calm under pressure and emergency situations
At least 21 Years of Age
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
Verify right to work in the United States
