Description

We are looking for a skilled Sr. Accountant to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a Sr. Accountant, you will oversee all daily accounting processes, ensure compliance with accounting principles and company procedures, and contribute significantly to our financial stability.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all daily accounting processes including in-house payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, ledger maintenance, revenue recording, and cash flow management.

• Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company procedures.

• Analyze and report on financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management.

• Coordinate and complete annual audits.

• Assist with strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting; identifying areas for potential improvement.

• Evaluate and recommend improvements to current accounting operations and implement new processes where necessary.

• Oversee tax and regulation compliance for the construction industry.

• Develop and manage financial systems.

• Evaluate costs of construction projects and recommend cost-saving strategies.

• Use skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, Payroll - In-House, Construction Accounting, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) to perform duties efficiently and effectively.

Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar or related role

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations is required

• Well-versed in General Ledger management and Journal Entries

• Demonstrated expertise in using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks

• Experience in handling Month End Close processes

• Knowledge of Payroll - In-House processes

• Familiarity with Construction Accounting is necessary

• Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Candidates must have a proactive approach and strong problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential

• Must possess strong analytical and critical thinking abilities

• Candidates must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively

• Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to shared goals

• Must demonstrate high levels of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
