Randstad is seeking an Senior Accountant for a reputable manufacturing company in the Summerlin area. The company offers a great culture and opportunities for advancement. Starting Salary - $85,000 - $95,000 plus great benefits.

responsibilities:

The Accountant is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining systems, procedures, and policies for inventory and costing.

• Ensure the accuracy of monthly activity rates and standard costing for month-end close reporting.

• Monitor variance accounts, investigate discrepancies, and determine necessary adjustments.

• Review and approve monthly journal entries related to cost and inventory accounting.

• Recommend and uphold internal controls and financial procedures in line with SOX standards.

• Update cost standards for material and labor price changes.

• Prepare cost of goods sold and production reports.

• Reconcile inventory accounts and monitor inventory activities.

• Support company initiatives through design, development, and reporting requests.

• Maintain company compliance and reporting standards.

• Collaborate with IT and Operations to improve reporting efficiency.

• Assist with monthly analysis compared to forecasts.

qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree is required.

• 2+ years of Accounting experience within the Manufacturing industry is required.
