Table Games Floorperson The Strat (Las Vegas, NV)

Description:

Summary: Trains, supervises and monitors performance of dealers to ensure smooth and efficient gaming operations during shift. Implements and ensures compliance with approved procedures. Follows all operating procedures, regulations, and policies and procedures. Works under close supervision of the table games shift manager.

Essential Functions:

  • Supervises the operation and ensures the integrity of assigned games

  • Corrects all errors in payoffs and in the collection of losing bets

  • Ensures compliance with all regulations, policies and procedures

  • Monitors guest play and files rating cards

  • Verifies all fills and credits, cash and chip transactions and opening and closing games

  • Monitors and verifies the security of all gaming equipment, cards, dice, etc.

  • Verifies and handles marker issuance and redemptions

  • Issues complimentary meals as appropriate to guests

  • Notifies shift manager on duty of any irregularities

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum two years previous supervisory experience in table games required

  • Previous experience in all table games preferred

  • Superior guest service skills

  • Ability to review and comprehend all documentation

  • Ability to communicate effectively at all times with all levels of employees and guests

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals

Physical Requirements

  • Standing (more than 75% of the time)

  • Vision, hearing, speech and literacy (critical)

  • Occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

  • Work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a smoky environment
