This position is located in Lavonia, Georgia
MRI Technologist 1st shift, Monday - Friday 8:00 - 4:30. Perform MRI exams and assist with Radiology and CT as needed.
MRI Technologist 1st shift, Monday - Friday 8:00 - 4:30. Perform MRI exams and assist with Radiology and CT as needed. Under direction of the radiologist, operates a variety of computerized and manual radiological equipment for diagnostic purposes; performs related duties as required. Operates MRI scanner that use a strong magnetic field and radio frequencies to create 3D images if a patient’s body tissues and operates a variety of computerized and manual radiological equipment for diagnostic purposes on patients of all ages; performs related duties as required.
II. Position Requirements:
A: Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)(MR). Must be registered in MRI within 1 year of hire date.
Preferred additional (ARRT)(CT)(RT) registered
CPR BLS Certification
B. Education:
Graduate of an AMA approved school of MRI / radiology
Working Knowledge of the department and modality consistent with education level. Degree of Supervision Required: Capable of performing procedure criteria specific to the level of education and competence as noted for specific modality without supervision or errors.
