Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a CNC Operator to join their team. As a CNC Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: CNC Operator
Location: Lawrenceville, GA
Pay Range: $24 - $26 per hour
What's the Job?
Plan machining by studying work orders and verifying blueprints, materials, and specifications.
Set up CNC lathes/mills by entering instructions and adjusting necessary components.
Verify settings by measuring positions and ensuring the first-run part meets quality standards.
Maintain specifications by observing CNC tools and adhering to quality assurance procedures.
Document actions by completing production and quality logs to maintain continuity among work shifts.
What's Needed?
2-4 years of previous experience in CNC operation or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Basic skills in reading blueprints and performing basic math calculations.
Fundamental knowledge of metal cutting and machining practices.
Ability to work overtime if required, including weekends.
