Your Role at KIK

The Inside Sales Representative will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth for our Pro Sales team in our Pool division by effectively engaging with current and prospective customers. They must possess strong communication skills, persuasive abilities, and a results-oriented mindset to succeed in this role. This position is based on-site in our Lawrenceville, GA office, 8 am-5 pm EST, Monday-Thursday and remote on Fridays.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support sales teams by proactively calling assigned accounts to achieve sales goals and meet revenue and OP income targets

  • Ability to act as primary contact for prospective new customers including gaining credit approval, recommending products for initial orders, offering specific marketing programs and pricing negotiations

  • Pricing negotiations on drive items with existing customers; ability to negotiate settlements with customers for returned products, quality issues, and pricing discrepancies

  • Prepare and conduct presentations as required at regional meetings, national sales meetings, internal meetings, etc

  • Document all activities in CRM and schedule appropriate follow-up

  • Participate in regional calls and meetings sharing best practices, ideas, suggestions and metrics

  • Participate in ongoing in-house training programs

  • Learn and prospect entry into CRM for sales distribution

  • Communicate with smaller, outlying customers that do not warrant on-site visits or frequent field sales support, to grow that business segment

  • Support sales and special marketing programs (i.e., brand launches, new product integrations, and key initiatives)

  • Proactive selling calls that will reduce SMOG (slow-moving obsolete goods) inventory to targeted levels through sell-off programs, clearance sales, and other sales promotions

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies

  • Create brand awareness through effective communication and brand services and competitive advantage points

What You’ll Bring

  • Highschool Diploma Required; Associate degree preferred

  • At least 2 years of non-retail selling experience

  • SAP experience is a plus

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite is required

  • Proven ability to develop and nurture strong customer relations

  • A passion for sales and a drive to exceed targets

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
