Robert Half Benefits Administrator in Laytonsville, Maryland

Description

We are in search of a proficient Benefits Administrator to join our team in Laytonsville, Maryland. The individual will have a key role in managing and processing employee benefits, ensuring accurate and timely resolution of inquiries, and maintaining comprehensive records. This role operates within the construction industry and offers an exciting opportunity for those with strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail. The role is a hybrid role, two days a week in office. The role requires someone who is bilingual, speaking spanish.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the open enrollment process for employee benefits.

• Coordinate benefit packages and ensure they are administered effectively.

• Handle COBRA administration efficiently and in compliance with regulations.

• Regularly review and analyze benefits options to ensure they meet employee needs.

• Use Excel and vlookups to manage and maintain accurate data entries.

• Provide excellent customer service, addressing and resolving benefits-related inquiries promptly.

• Leverage strong communication skills to effectively interact with both English and Spanish speaking employees.

• Ensure accurate processing and recording of all benefits information in line with company policies.

• Implement and manage Employee Benefit Plan and Employee Benefit Program.

• Utilize knowledge of Benefit Functions to optimize the benefits process.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Benefit Functions and Benefits Administration

• Proficiency in Cobra Administration and Benefits Analysis

• Demonstrable knowledge of Benefit Packages and Benefits Coordination

• Familiarity with Employee Benefit Plan and Employee Benefit Program

• Fluency in Spanish Language

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in the use of relevant software and applications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
