Avera Physical Therapy Aide in Le Mars, Iowa

Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA has a PRN (as needed) in in our Physical Therapy Department for a Physical Therapy Aide.

Physical Therapy Aide Responsibilities:

  • Under supervision of the Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant, the Physical Therapy Aide is primarily responsible for preparing patients and equipment for treatment in the Physical Medicine Department.

  • Assist patients with exercise equipment.

  • Cross train for clerical assistance and may assist with clinic maintenance, linens, supplies, etc.

  • Days vary based on need; 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • CPR certification and Mandatory Reporter training certificate a plus; certifications are required as an employee.

Floyd Valley Healthcare has had a rich history of serving the healthcare needs of people in Le Mars, Iowa and the surrounding communities. Today Floyd Valley includes the hospital, family medicine clinics in Le Mars, Marcus and Remsen, and public health. We serve people in their homes through home health and home medical services.
