Amergis Occupational Therapist Acute - ASAP Start in League City, Texas

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is looking for an Occupational Therapist in the Houston area!!

Job Description:

Directs the evaluation, development, coordination, and implementation of occupational therapy intervention provided to patients. Serves as a patient advocate assuring the delivery of occupational therapy meets legal, ethical, and institutional standards while adhering to the philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures of the department and the organization.

Length: 13 weeks

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours a week. 8a – 5p with one hour for lunch OR 8:30a – 5p with 30 minutes for lunch (to be decided during interview)

Education & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.

  • Currently licensed in the State of Texas.

  • Minimum three years’ experience.

  • Acute experience in a Level 1 Trauma center preferred.

Setting - Acute which is Inpatient only

Would the therapist be solo or have a team of OTs to work with? - There are a few OT’s and PT’s, COTA, PTA in that area around 6 total
