SUMMARY:

The Inventory Control Clerk will manage all clerical duties related to controlling inventory, handle cycle counts and input inventory into the system.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage entering bulk items into OBMS and handle all warehouse transactions.

  • Run open pick ticket report.

  • Assist with cycle counting in Warehouse.

  • Research cycle count variances.

  • Handle negative report daily

  • Manage entering information in shop floor short stocks

  • Cycle count non-current parts

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficient computer skills with strong Excel experience.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to multi-task.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Understanding of inventory processes.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • One to three years of related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections.

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time.

Work Environment:

Regularly required to work at heights on platforms, lifting parts and pieces up to 50 lbs, traveling up and down stairs on a constant basis, sitting, squatting and bending in various awkward positions for certain lengths of time - including working overhead, traveling in and out of work areas, walking and being on your feet for a majority of the workday. Exposed to noise, dust, fumes and odors on a daily basis. Physical exertion is required.
