Responsibilities

Dartmouth Health / Cheshire Medical Center is seeking amotivated Physician Assistant (PA)to join their Orthopaedics Department in Keene, NH. The ideal candidate will have experience in either Urgent Care, Primary Care, Anesthesia, and/or Orthopaedics. The PA will work in a multi-disciplinary, preoperative team. Time will be split in the Orthopaedic outpatient clinic, conducting surgical history and physicals with additional responsibilities including 1 day per week in the OR, performing same-day and ED consults, procedures, and inpatient rounding.

This position is ideal for a PA looking for a fast-paced, collegial environment with diverse responsibilities. The PA will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide team-based, high-value quality care to patients of all ages.

The position is Monday through Friday, with hours approximately from 7:00 am to 5 pm, with the opportunity to take 8 hours of flex time throughout the week. There is also a call component, with weekday and weekend calls at a 1:7 ratio when fully staffed, which is compensated. Benefits including CME time off and stipend, as well as 4 weeks paid vacation.

Qualifications

Required Licensure/Certifications

  • 2+ years’ experience preferred, but all candidates will be considered. Current (or eligible) certification to practice as a Physician's Assistant in the state of New Hampshire. Academic preparation at the Master's level required.

  • CPR Certified. - ACLS Certified (Can obtain within the first year of employment).

  • Area of Interest:Associate Provider;
