DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Job ID: 492778

Position Overview This position is responsible for the operation of excavator/breaker to enhance production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities  * Adhere to and follow all safety rules and regulations of MSHA/OSHA/DOT and Pennsy Supply, Inc.  * Conduct daily safety assignments (workplace exam, pre-shifts, JSA's, TRACK, etc.).  * Perform pre-shift inspections on equiment.  * Perform maintenance on equipment, such as fueling, lubricating, cleaning, and reporting faulty equipment to Supervisor  * Operate front-end loader, and other equipment as needed.  * Start engines, shift gears, presses pedals, and turns steering wheels to operate loader.  * Moves levers to lower and tilt bucket and drives front-end loader forward to force bucket into bulk material.  * Assist with plant repairs & plant maintenance, such as cleaning up in and around the plant & quarry as directed.  * Help with stone, concrete, asphalt, and shingle plants as needed.  * Other duties as assigned.  * Travel as needed to Millard, Fiddlers, East Petersburg, Landisville.

Requirements  * Must submit to a drug screen and criminal background check.  * Able to work independently with attention to detail.  * Able to follow direction and work effectively in a team environment.  * Able to respond to stressful situations and customers in a professional, courteous manner.  * Ability to effectively prioritize assignments to meet long-term and short-term deadlines.  * Able to work various times during day, night or weekend hours, at various locations.

Education/Experience  * High School Diploma or GED equivalent.  * Current driver's license is required.
