Permobil Machinist in Lebanon, Tennessee

Machinist

The Machinist is responsible for efficiently and safely operating a tube bender and other equipment. This involves setting up machines, making necessary adjustments, and starting or stopping equipment as required. Strict adherence to established procedures and guidelines is a must.

Our Operations department in Lebanon, TN is now looking for a Machinist.

Key Tasks

  • Monitor and operate machines according to established procedures.

  • Load and unload material into machine ensuring smooth production.

  • Perform daily safety checks at the start of shift to ensure no hazards exist.

  • Perform quality checks to ensure quality parts are being produced.

  • Perform daily cleaning according to procedures to maintain good work condition.

  • Perform equipment setup ensuring proper raw materials and tools are available.

  • Keep accurate records of production output and maintenance issues.

    Your Background

  • High school diploma or GED, preferred.

  • 3 to 5 years of machine learning experience.

  • Technical knowledge, basic understanding of machinery and equipment.

  • Proficiency in the English Language (written and oral).

  • Strong time management skills and priority focused.

  • Problem solving skills as it relates to machine malfunctions.

  • Safety awareness, this includes handling of hazardous material and following safety protocols.
