Stanford Home Center Department Manager- Property Maintenance in Leechburg, Pennsylvania

Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage all aspects of maintenance operations within the facility - Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure efficient and effective operations - Supervise a team of associates, providing guidance and support as needed - Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify and address any maintenance needs or issues - Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or services - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory management - Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols in the maintenance department - Collaborate with other departments to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize disruptions to operations - Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective practices are implemented                                                                                                                                             - Work in multiple departments within the store

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical certifications or degrees preferred
  • Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a similar industry or facility
  •  Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and other building infrastructure
  • Proficient in using computers
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a team of associates
  • Familiarity with safety protocols
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify issues and implement appropriate solutions
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing

-Must have knowledge of compressors, generators, etc., as well as various mechanical, electrical,  and plumbing systems. 

  • Knowledgeable in the building codes and safety regulations 

  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action 

Must have knowledge of Building Materials
