Sterling Deaerator Company CADD Drafter (Computer-Aided Design and Drafting Drafter) in Lees Summit, Missouri

CADD Technician Minimum competency - Possess High School Diploma or Certificate. - Demonstrate competency in AUTOCAD drafting in both 2D and 3D format. Responsibility The CADD Technician reports to the Manager of Drafting The CADD Technician shall be responsible for producing working drawings in accordance with the client's requirements and the Design Engineer's instructions. Drawings shall be produced by CAD in the format prescribed by the Manager of Drafting. All CADD Technicians will possess the ability to interpret and transfer the design data, relevant codes of practice and client's requirements. The CADD Technician shall also prepare the bill of material to facilitate identification of various materials and components to be used in the production of pressure vessel or tanks. Technical specifications shall be incorporated in the bill of material and general notes as prescribed by the Manager of Drafting. The CADD Technician shall forward the drawing and bill of material to be checked by the Manager of Drafting and Design Engineer for accuracy, content and legibility and approved by the Engineering Manager or Design Engineer. Using data provided by the Project Manager, with reference to Sterling Standard designs, the Drafter shall prepare the Deaerator General Arrangement drawings using items such as the Work Order, Data to Drafting and the customers specifications. With the guidance of the Project Manager, the Drafter shall also make revisions as directed by the customers review of the General Arrangement drawings. Once the final design of the Deaerator is settled, the Drafter shall proceed to make a set of drawing for the shop to use for completing all necessary details for fabrication of the Deaerator. All drawings will be checked by another drafter and the Project Manager before being submitted to the customer for approval.
