ManpowerGroup Critical Environment Facility Waste Management Support Assistant in Leesburg, Virginia

Our client, a leader in sustainability and waste management, is seeking a CE Facility Waste Management Support Assistant to join their team. As a CE Facility Waste Management Support Assistant, you will be part of the operations team supporting critical environment initiatives. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a commitment to sustainability, and the ability to conduct waste audits, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CE Facility Waste Management Support Assistant

Location: Leesburg, VA

Pay Range: $34-39/HR on Experis W2

What's the Job?

  • Sort waste streams according to the categories of recyclables and landfill.

  • Ensure that waste bins are labeled, clean, and accessible.

  • Monitor waste generation and diversion rates and report any issues or suggestions.

  • Coordinate with waste haulers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate pickup and delivery.

  • Proactively guide waste producers to the proper recycling locations.

What's Needed?

  • Experience in waste management and a commitment to sustainability.

  • Ability to conduct waste audits and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
