Die Corrector Responsibilities: Lift and position die parts on bench Study blueprints, die models, and prototype parts, and compare them with die to ascertain contours Inspect and verify dimensions and radii of new die tooling before releasing for die trial After die trial, correct dies to meet print and Customers demand, if necessary Observe pattern where surfaces make contact, and correct until die member conforms to specified contour Review and inspect die tooling after production to polish or correct die parts Assist in training new die setters and die correctors Inspect smoothness and contour for conformity to print Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 5+ years of die correction experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience: 5+ years of die correction experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fundamentals of plane and solid geometry Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form IF YOU ARE INTERESTED OR HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE CONTACT JASON AT: jason@rekrutllc.com
