ICE RINK ATTENDANT

CLOSING DATE: Open Until Filled

PAY RATE: $11.60 per hour

SCHEDULE: Shifts available Monday-Friday from 5 - 10 pm, Saturdays 12 - 10 pm. (This is a seasonal position that will run from November 2024 to January 2025).

DEPARTMENT: Recreation

JOB SUMMARY

Perform customer service, concessions, and admissions functions as directed by policies and procedures and under the supervision of Ice Rink Manager.

1. Provide information about the ice rink, skate rentals, skate programs, and concessions.
2. Provide friendly and upbeat customer service and skate rentals.
3. Answer phone calls from guests.
4. Operates point of sale (Square) device for concession orders and rink admission and skate rentals
5. Handles and prepares food
6. Monitors skaters on ice
7. Attend Equipment Orientation as needed.

8. Minimum 2 shifts per week and 1 weekend shift per week.

    

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Good customer service skills.
• Friendly personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Willingness to take direction and an eagerness to learn.
• Required to get a food handler's permit, if hired.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in the evenings, Monday - Friday, and days/evenings on Wednesday, Saturdays, November through February 1, 2024.
• Must be 16 years old or older.
