ICE RINK MANAGER

CLOSING DATE: Open until Filled

PAY RATE: $15.25 per hour

SCHEDULE Shifts available Monday-Friday from 5 - 10 pm, Saturdays 12 - 10 pm (This is a seasonal position that will run from November 2024 to January 2025).

DEPARTMENT: Recreation

JOB SUMMARY

This is a part-time supervisory position responsible to ensure general operations of the Ice Rink facility and its programs are maintained through scheduled shift, including admissions, rentals, concessions, maintenance and upkeep.

• Responsible for all aspects of customer service at the Ice Rink concessions and skate rental.
• Manages and supervises staff.
• Oversees Square register.
• Oversees site cleanliness and notifies Parks staff of equipment maintenance needs.
• Monitors Skaters on Ice
• Provide a safe and happy environment for patrons and staff

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Food handlers permit required after being hired.
• A willingness to learn.
• Ability to get along well with other staff members.
• Provide good customer service.
• Must be 18.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in the afternoons and evenings, Monday - Saturday, and days on Wednesday, Saturdays, from November through February 1, 2024.
