ROCK WALL ATTENDANT

CLOSING DATE: Open Until Filled

PAY RATE: $11.61 per hour

SCHEDULE: Shifts for rock wall rentals will be available in between open climb times. (See open climb schedule below)

*Rock wall open climb times are:

• Mon/Wed/Thur at 5 - 9 pm
• Sat at 12 - 4 pm

DEPARTMENT: Recreation

JOB SUMMARY

Perform general duties at the rock wall, including but not limited to:

• harnessing and belaying clients up the wall.
• changing the rocks for different routes.
• other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Flexible working schedule, some evenings and Saturdays.
• Good public relations skills are a must.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time; good general health.
• Must have understanding of safety procedures.
• Ability to handle groups of children and youth.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
