Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Lemoore, California (Fresno Area)

At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role in Warehouse Clerk pay ranges $20.41 - $22.96. This position is on 3rd shift (11PM 7:30AM) Sunday Thursday. Start time and days off are subject to change based on business needs.

Summary Description: The warehouse clerk will be responsible for shipping operations and daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse inventory reconciliations.

Product Integrity

  • At all times, operate in a manner consistent with safe operating procedures.

  • Responsible for the safe performance of operators responsibilities in accordance with applicable Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Actively coordinate & manage al loads in cooperation with Group Leader & Supervisors

  • Make out customer fill orders for cheese shipments and commit product to these orders.

  • Ensure load out operators are preparing and properly maintaining all paperwork, trailer inspections, product movements, pallet exchange forms and receiving documents.

  • Schedule all incoming and outgoing loads via Lean Logistics.

  • Schedule container loads and arrange appointment time with carrier.

  • Assist with finished goods and raw materials inventories.

  • Assist powder warehouse shipping operators as needed.

  • Organize raw and finished products.

  • Manifest all cheese and/or powder loads and print bill of ladings (BOL).

  • File bill of ladings and keep files organized.

  • Coordinate and organize order notifications.

  • Request product to be released for shipment from QE department.

  • Review and apply inventory activities, including movements and deletions

  • Maintain and update inventory records

  • Develop and implement efficient inventory management procedures

  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies

  • Report any stock issues to management and place product orders as necessary

  • Prepare a list of depleted products and a survey of unusable products

  • Oversees product needs and manages available product for release

  • Strong and thorough knowledge of Warehouse SOPs

  • Able to handle a high stress and fast paced environment.

  • Request product from Quality Execution and Corporate Product Management pending shipping needs for release accurately and in a timely manner via SAP

  • Works Collaboratively with different departments

  • to ensure that customer service and shipping goals are met, and service impacts are minimized.

  • Able to make calculated decisions.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisory staff.

  • Adhere to all company and regulatory GMPs

  • Comply with corporate rules and regulations

  • Must be able to multi-task

  • Must successfully complete JTPR and consistently perform work according to SOP.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Organizational Support

  • Coordinate with Corporate Customer Service, Traffic and Product Management on any issues preventing timely shipment of material.

    You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required

  • Experience in the shipping, warehouse and inventory operations is preferred

  • Must be able to obtain a forklift operators certification

    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities/Competencies:

  • Computer literacy. Knowledge of SAP, Blue Jay Logistics, MS Excel, MS Word Applications, MS Outlook email, and Typing Skills min. 40wpm.

  • Knowledgeable of food safety expectations, SOPs, Cyberdocs, and MFG specifications

  • Knowledge of sanitary GMPs.

  • Proficient in math, analytical reasoning skills, and delegation

  • Ability to carry out Risk Assessments, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control Principles

  • Ability to make decisions independently in a stressful environment involving large financial impacts

  • Has excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task and deliver on deadlines

  • Ability to learn and perform multiple functions and tasks within the scope of accounting

  • Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic

  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends.

  • Physical requirements to perform job as defined in the essential job function.
