Actalent Controls Engineer in Lenexa, Kansas

Description:

• 5 - 10 years’ experience using Rockwell Automation Control Platforms. • Some leadership experience is a plus. • BS Degree or equivalent experience is required. • Process Control experience and Programmable Logic Controller experience. • Project experience from basic design, detailed design, construction, commissioning, qualification, and handover are all a plus. • Ability to work with customers directly to help guide them through upgrades. • Automation Programming (Rockwell Logix RS5000, RS500). • HMI development (FactoryTalk SE, FactoryTalk ME, Wonderware, Ignition). • Automation network design and communication protocols. • Continuously improve the reliability of existing systems. • Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment. • Material/Component specifying and ordering. • Travel to ongoing projects as needed.
