Work Schedule

10 hr shift/days

Environmental Conditions

Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Standing for full shift, Strong Odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products etc.), Will work with hazardous/toxic materials

Job Description

Our team in Lenexa, KS is at the heart of providing world-class microbiology products to customers around the globe, and we are growing again!

What will you do?

Work safely and efficiently with your own personal protective equipment (PPE)

Work on a production line to produce and package aseptic and non-aseptic media in tubes, bottles, and vials.

Work with a team to accomplish production goals.

Quality inspect at multiple points in the process.

Document process to align with ISO-9000 and other federal requirements.

Diligently follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)

How will you get here?

You’ll have a High School diploma or equivalent

Communicate well, both verbally and written in English, and be comfortable performing basic math

Enjoy learning while being flexible and adaptable in a changing environment

Have a strong sense of accountability and a safety approach

Enjoy working with others and making a positive impact

Enjoy learning about and working with machines

You’ll be able to lift up to 50 lbs, be comfortable standing for long periods of time (around 10 hours a day), and see and distinguish colors.
