Maintenance Supervisor (Resume required for this position)

Position Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for the oversight of a crew of Maintenance technicians assigned to his shift, as well as for ensuring the proper upkeep and function of all equipment in the facility, to include preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Providing guidance and leadership to all maintenance personnel on shift.

• Ensure safe and efficient operation of all equipment in the facility through the administration of a Preventive Maintenance program.

• Monitors the production process and responds to equipment breakdowns to direct and guide mechanic response and efficiency.

• Ensures equipment in working order and that working conditions are safe at all times.

• Verify the readiness of the production line at start-up.

• Manage overall maintenance work quality and completion to ensure all standards and specifications are met.

• Assisting employees with troubleshooting problems and coaching them through making the correct adjustments.

• Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members.

• Run calls to fix equipment as needed

• Champion for company -wide safety programs and initiatives.

• Ability to work over 40 hours weekly

Education/Experience

• 2-5 years experience managing hourly maintenance personnel at the frontline level, preferably in Case Ready Meat Packaging.

Required Skills

• Excellent Team Building and Communication Skills.

• In depth knowledge of Case Ready Meat Packaging Maintenance Operations or transferable skill-sets for food manufacturing process in a similar industry.

• Ability to work with computers, Office programs, SAP, Computerized Maintenance Management software.

• In depth knowledge of applicable fields like, Pneumatics, Electricity, Hydraulics, and general maintenance of Industrial equipment.
