    About This Opportunity :

    Carries out the services of the Making Opportunity Count Supported Employment Programs by assisting clients to obtain and maintain employment that is consistent with their vocational goals.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage clients and establishes relationship directed toward the goal of competitive employment in a job setting that provides long-term, sustainable employment.

  • Collaborate with community providers to establish stream of referrals and resources for employment programs.

  • Present, on behalf of Making Opportunity Count, at community workforce events, as needed.

  • Assess clients' vocational functioning on ongoing basis utilizing background information and work experiences.

  • Conducts job development and job search activities to assist caseload

  • Provide individualized follow-along supports to assist clients in maintaining employment.

  • Provide education and support to the clients, as needed.

  • Conduct outreach services, as needed, with clients who appear to disengage from the service.

  • Develop an individual employment/education plan with each active caseload

  • Meet with individuals in the community, as needed.

  • Assist with the development of the SNAP Employment and Training (E&T) program

    What You Bring : Education and experience equivalent to undergraduate degree in workforce training & development, social services, or business. Experience working with people with barriers to employment, experience providing employment services, and knowledge of the work world are preferred. Ability to work as an effective team player is essential.

    Compensation commensurate with experience
