Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Leominster, Massachusetts

Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst in the manufacturing industry. This role is based in Leominster, Massachusetts, and provides the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a variety of applications, ranging from performance wear to construction adhesives. The role is a contract position that entails a range of responsibilities in financial analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare weekly sales flash reports to provide updated sales data

• Regularly contribute information for the IRR – monthly inventory planning meetings between regions

• Assist with budget processes, including data validation from Excel uploads into D365

• Participate in the review and analysis of Q1 actuals, assisting with projections based on Q1 results

• Develop and maintain ad hoc dashboards for data visualization and reporting

• Leverage strong Excel skills to manage data, including use of pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions

• Create graphs and deliver information in PowerPoint presentations for clear, visual communication of data

• Utilize MSDynamics 365 for various financial analysis and reporting tasks (preferred but not a requirement)

• Play a key role in inventory planning and reporting to ensure efficient use of resources

• Apply expertise in budget processes to support financial planning and decision-making.

Requirements

• Must hold a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS PowerPoint is required.

• Familiarity with the use of VLOOKUP function in Excel.

• Knowledge of Budget Processes is necessary.

• Experience with Weekly Flash Report is desirable.

• Skilled in Inventory Planning & Reporting.

• Ability to validate data and ensure accuracy in reporting.

• Experience in creating Dashboard metrics.

• Proficiency in creating and interpreting Charts and Graphs.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required.

• Must possess strong organizational and project management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must be able to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
