JOB SUMMARY

Collects billing data and accurately enters billing information into approved computer systems. Reconciles daily charges making necessary corrections. Works with Perioperative Business Manager, Surgical Services Director, and related departmental staff to ensure timely and accurate patient bills. Cross trains for the Surgical Services Scheduler position as well.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

• High School Diploma or GED required

  EXPERIENCE

• 1–3 years prior experience preferred

• Scheduling of surgical procedures in a healthcare setting or a related medical field required

  OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED

• Medical Terminology required
