State of Montana Lead Purchasing Agent in Lewistown, Montana

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Montana Mental Health Nursing Care Center. * The Montana Mental Health Nursing Care Center (MMHNCC) provides nursing and psychiatric care for persons with a mental disorder that renders them unable to be served appropriately in a community setting. It is licensed as a 100-bed nursing facility. *Job Overview: * The Lead Purchasing Agent is responsible for all aspects of procurement for supplies and equipment. Including daily credit card purchases, limited procurement requests, and internal purchase order requests as well as coordinating any returns of orders when needed. Researches and analyzes purchasing requests to identify the most cost-effective method of procurement, appropriate quantity, while adhering to State policy, State law and compliance to term contracts and internal policy. This position is also required to unload daily delivery trucks and stock storerooms to maintain an account of rotated supplies and prepares a monthly food service cost report based on food purchases, usage and number of meals served.
