Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Job Description
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage and collect outstanding accounts from businesses, ensuring that account information is up-to-date, reconciled, and payments are made promptly. This role involves building relationships with businesses, providing excellent customer service, and devising plans for past due invoices.
Hard Skills
Identifying overdue accounts (Collections)
Making outbound and inbound calls to/from businesses (High volume, 40-50 calls) a day,
Negotiating payment plans
Communicating with customers to answer billing questions, handle complaints, and recover debts
Maintaining files on account financial status and keeping detailed notes of all communications and actions
Investigating billing issues and disputes in a timely manner
Developing strategies and implementing plans of action to better serve customers

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s) but COULD be extended longer.
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Lexington, Kentucky and some days remote.
Work Environment
M-F (8-5PM OR 9-6PM)
Fast-paced office setting
Hybrid schedules (2 days remote and 3 in-office)
3 weeks of training (8-5PM and CANNOT miss training during those first 3 weeks)
