Job Summary
This Administrative Support Associate role is a position that requires interaction with members of the department, management teams and internal/external parties and vendors. The candidate must possess the ability, with minimum supervision, to remain flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism in which to address assignments that may require handling matters that are critical, confidential and time sensitive. Ability to learn, retain and understand the University’s structures are important to provide the level of support and knowledge necessary to complete daily tasks.

This position will have a variety of responsibilities and requires the skill to work effectively within a team environment while being extremely self-motivated. The capability to build collaborative, working relationships throughout the organization will be critical. This individual needs to enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting a diverse group and can work effectively in a multi-task environment that requires strong organization and communication skills, with focus and attention to detail. The position requires analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to prioritize and plan, excellent communication skills and the aptitude to carry out responsibilities independently.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable juggling many things at once, without losing focus of the final goal at hand and will possess the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with strong attention to detail in a business with changing priorities. The Administrative Support Associate provides advanced-level administrative support and organization to the Department of Urology and ensures the efficient and effective provision of data and information. This position organizes schedules, manages deadlines, pays close attention to details and exhibits professional customer service skills to internal and external visitors. This position directly supports the faculty and advance practice providers (APP) of the Department of Urology.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word); Strong Communication skills; Detail-Oriented; Organizational skills; UK systems (SAP, Procard, PEW).

Preferred Education/Experience
Associate’s degree plus three or more years related administration experience preferred.
