Responsible for carrying out projects related to the design of electrical schematics for automated processes based on customer specification. Design PLC and HMI programs for automated systems. Assist in the engineering process by working with customers, suppliers and the internal team to develop, evaluate and communicate design concepts. Responsible for developing documentation consistent with the Project Execution Process, including concept development. Attend customer review meetings for project proposals and provide project updates to customers. Visit customer sites as needed to review electrical requirements and reverse engineer existing machines. Produce electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical for panel layouts and wiring schematics. Support team with process/ scope reviews to produce budgetary solutions and requirements.•Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or foreign educational equivalent. Three years of experience in the position offered, or in a similar position such as Electrical Controls Designer or Controls Specialist. Experience must include designing electrical schematics and panel layouts for automated processes based on customer specifications, and completing order procurement process.
