Big Ass Fans General Manager - Channel Partner in Lexington, Kentucky

The Big Ass Fans General Manager Channel Partner can take the #1 brand in industrial & commercial fans and unlock this potential in a $5B US market for air movement & heat products. This individual will be responsible for a multimillion-dollar business catering to the New Construction and US Export markets and lead a team in achieving growth and profitability targets within the segment. The Segment GM will develop a sales strategy for the channel with a focus on significantly increasing the market share of BAF products through partnerships. The Segment GM owns the full P&L and strategic direction for the business while providing direction to both the dedicated and shared service group supporting channel growth.

Responsibilities
Develop a strategic, market-specific blueprint with targeted deliverables around BAF initiatives to facilitate top and bottom-line growth.
Establish and nurture strong relationships with partners to drive revenue advancement; provide market analysis including key trends, general marketplace activity, and recommendations to drive increased market share.
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement and market expansion.
Collaborate with BAF cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to create and implement channel-specific sales initiative programs.
Develop and optimize channel-specific performance through the creation of metrics and KPIs; drive sales performance and revenue targets through effective forecasting, pipeline management, and performance evaluation.
Engage with channel partners about BAF products and solutions and identify and guide new opportunities to grow channel partner revenue and success.
Ensure partners adhere to BAF brand guidelines, policies, and procedures while adjusting channel strategy and sales tactics accordingly.
Manage processes, workflows, and reporting to measure success and opportunities for channel improvement. Continuously assess channel partner satisfaction, address concerns, and proactively identify ways to strengthen relationships.
Work with channel partners to grow and execute opportunity pipelines and increase sales; analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize channel effectiveness and profitability.
Attend key events and tradeshows to foster channel relationships and identify new channel opportunities; serve as the main point of leadership contact.
Present regular status updates of channel partner data to senior leadership.
Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the team, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting professional development.
Cultivate an environment of effective collaboration, accountability, and teamwork focused on the execution of BAF strategies, vision, and goals.
Understand and drive 80/20 strategies throughout the channel segment to ensure growth focused activities.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in business, sales, marketing, or relevant discipline; MBA preferred
10 years driving large-scale commercial growth programs
Proven track record of scaling a business and the ability to successfully build and manage a partner go-to-market model within the air movement ecosystem
7 years in partner channel sales with a proven track record of successfully developing and growing partnerships
Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence partners at all levels
Strong management and people leadership skills, with proven success in motivating sales teams
Experience in global commercial transactions a broad understanding of cultural, legal, and market requirements preferred
Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify and capitalize on market opportunities
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Ability to travel up to 30%
