About the Role

As an Inventory Analytics Manager at Takeda, you will play a critical role to manage the reconciliation of inventory between Takeda and third-party CMOs in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, identify and action at-risk inventories and provide visibility to inventory values/commercial production volumes. Your responsibilities will include the establishment, improvement and execution of processes that support best practices around global inventory management, using digital solutions to unlock value. This role is based in Switzerland or Boston and reports to the Inventory Analytics Lead.

How You Will Contribute

  • Ensure completion of work in compliance with the key SOX controls.

  • Support the building and completion of monthly/quarterly inventory reconciliation for the externally manufactured products.

  • Lead SAP research and investigation into discrepancies to identify next steps for resolution errors.

  • Manage monthly review meetings with Supply Planners to document changes in the business and identify risks to communicate with business partners. Provide resolution of issues asrequired.

  • Analyze accuracy and completion of SAP transactions to support Supply Planning process.

  • Build relationship with CMOs to ensure discrepancy analysis is efficiently managed.

  • Ensure reporting is completed and posted to centralized site for cross-functional review.

  • Act as liaison between Supply Planning and Finance to facilitate understanding of various business impacts identified in CMO inventory reconciliation.

  • Analyze reconciliation to identify at-risk inventory (i.e. expired, product quality issues, pending regulatory approvals, etc.).

  • Manage monthly meetings with Supply Planning and Finance to understand financial impact of at-risk inventory to be reserved.

  • Lead projects for continuous improvement of processes for CMO inventory reconciliation.

  • Apply digital solutions to CMO inventory reconciliation, to unlock efficiency from automation and deliver analytical insights and improved visibility.

What You Bring to Takeda

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant Supply Chain experience or Finance preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Supply Chain degree or recognized qualifications such as CSCP (APICS), Lean/Six Sigma would be highly beneficial

  • Experience with inventory reconciliations and inventory management processes

  • Ability to effectively communicate to accomplish challenging tasks.

  • Strong process/continuous improvement skills

  • Ability to work in collaboration with Supply Planning and Finance Business Partners, as well cross-functionally with External Supply, Quality and other stakeholders.

  • Exceptional analytical skills along with the ability to work with large amounts of data.

  • Excellent end-to-end knowledge of supply management as well as financial processes for 3rd party CMO inventory reconciliation.

  • Advanced knowledge of SAP (Supply Chain) and Business Intelligence solutions (e.g., Qlik, SAP Analytics Cloud)

  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
