Position Overview:

Siemens Mobility is seeking to fill a Junior level Project Procurement Manager (PPM). This role will be supporting a Project Procurement Manager and cross functional departments including sales, engineering, operations, finance, & management, both locally & globally. The position can be based in Sacramento, CA or Lexington, NC with a hybrid work schedule.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Develop RFPs, qualifying potential suppliers (onboarding in GMDM), determining appropriate strategies for sourcing,

• Clearly define the supply chain. Creating and maintaining project procurement plans, assuring superior supply chain execution throughout the entire project, documenting and communicating the supply chain strategy to a cross-functional project teams.

• Support material setup up in SAP, quoting, and additional sourcing as needed,

To thrive in this role, you have:

• Bachelor’s degree,

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in materials management and project management,

• Proficiency in Excel,

• Experience with SAP,

• Well demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills,

• Ability to work independently and cross functionally,

• Experience reading drawings would be a plus as would experience with Tableau.

The base salary range for this position in Sacramento, CA is $79,000 - $107,200 and in Lexington, NC is $72,100 - $97,400. The actual salary/wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
