Andromeda Systems Incorporated Configuration Manager, Journeyman in Lexington Park, Maryland
[ASI is seeking an experienced Configuration Manager to join our Engineering team to support US DoD projects in Patuxent River, MD. [This position requires a self-starter with strong communication skills that works well in a dynamic environment.

- Collect, organize, and interpret data relating to aircraft and product programs
- Maintain configuration control of acquisition products and data
- Track configuration changes.
- Coordinate and support development of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)
- Apply government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, and data management

- Enforce compliance with Configuration Management (CM) policies and procedures to ensure that what is designed, manufactured, installed, and fielded are accurately and completely documented, while maintaining configuration control
- Maintain and control specific documents including aircraft technical data packages, electrical and mechanical drawings, and standard operating procedures
- Support creation, implementation, and execution of CM processes
- Ensure timely posting and distribution of correct revisions on library sites and provide timely distribution of work instructions in accordance with processes to the laboratories and manufacturing shops
- Submit documents through public affairs for public release
- Oversee, develop, document, and maintain Technical Data Packages (TDPs), provide TDP status metrics, and perform standards and process development, documentation, and continuous improvement duties
- Manage and maintain automated status accounting systems and reports; generate documentation relative to technical reviews, audits, and configuration control boards
- Assist and provide support to facilitate the project/task
- Maintain accurate records concerning all project/task performance indicators
- Create and manage files and databases on project performance indicators
- May travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time

Bachelors degree in a Business or Management discipline, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Management Information Technology
