We are currently seeking a Junior IT Specialist to support our Corporate Team in Lexington Park, MD.

Incumbent will:

• Serve as the first line of hardware and software support for all user IT issues. Utilize helpdesk ticketing system to manage support incidents.

• Deploy, manage and repair various IT hardware: desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, copiers, phones, projectors, etc.

• Deploy, manage and repair various IT software: Microsoft Office Suite, email, web applications, desktop applications, anti-virus, etc.

  Required Experience:

• Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field. Relevant work experience and industry related certifications will be considered in lieu of degree.

• Demonstrated experience in using, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows desktop operating systems.

• Demonstrated experience using and troubleshooting various applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, browsers (IE/Chrome), Adobe products, web based applications, etc.

• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment where requirements and priorities change quickly

• Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.

ADA Requirements:

• Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, and sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time, including the ability to lift up to 50lbs

  Desired Experience Includes:

• Working knowledge of LAN/WAN hardware and configuration

• VOIP and VTC

• Industry related certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.)
