At ACE Group, we are making a difference by providing support to programs at NAVAIR. This office is responsible for research, development, acquisition, and sustainment of the Navy's Autonomous Aircraft program. We are looking for a Journeyman Risk Management Analyst to support the execution of Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) research and development (R&D) programs by working with customers to develop program objectives and provide technical analysis as required. This position is located on-site in Patuxent River, MD and requires the candidate to have an active U.S. DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.
Description:
Provide Risk Management support as delineated in the DoD Risk Management Guide for Defense Acquisition Programs. Specifically, develop a risk management strategy for documenting the risk management process within the organization.
Develop and maintain a risk management database, and actively track risks throughout the program.
Submit risk reports to support program leadership decision points and program level meetings / briefings.
Develop, implement, and document the application of risk metrics and prepare accurate, thorough, and complete risk reports.
Provide support at Program level meetings and hold one-on-one meetings to actively assist in risk tracking and mitigation.
Encourage and support the risk management process throughout the team.
Initiate risk practices and policies in an effort to manage risk to the greatest extent practical to ensure program's risks, issues, and opportunities are captured.
Work with the program management and team lead(s) to support program execution and processes for future program activities and/or design reviews.
Minor (5-10%) travel is required for this position
Requirements
Education / Certifications:One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
Bachelor's degree in a technical or management field from an accredited college or university.
Active U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance with ability to get a TS
Experience:
2-5 years of experience in risk management.
Experience in DOD Acquisition risk management
Proficient in all Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
Demonstrated good oral and written communication skills.
Experience coordinating operations across multiple organizational boundaries.
Experience working in a dynamic, schedule constrained, and complex security environment.

Salary Description
$87,937.00 - $146,543.00 depending on experience
