ACE is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to work onsite, in a highly classified environment. The selected candidate will provide direct support to a NAVAIR program office located at NAS Patuxent River, ensuring OEM software development efforts meet the requirements of the US Navy.
Responsibilities
The Software Engineer shall identify required resources, schedule dependencies, and contracting actions needed to support the overarching software engineering efforts and interfaces with Program Management and related technologies
Analyze software engineering problems to develop and implement solutions to complex applications, system design and development issues
Be responsible for developing analyzing and validating architectural and functional requirements, specifications, and interfaces
Interface with system or program contractors, vendors and Government representatives regarding the technical aspects of the programs/projects, ensuring project procedures and controls are followed and leading problem resolution efforts
Effectively organize, schedule and coordinate Software engineering work phases and tasks to support effective integration in a highly classified environment
Requirements
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field in line with above functional description
U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret clearance
Desired:
Ten (I0) years of experience in Software Engineering, including participation in SETR events
Experience analyzing commercially available, open source, government furnished and contractor furnished software
Experience in management and technical positions for major ACAT programs and advanced technologies
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) development
Experience with software and system integration and testing functions
Experience in highly classified environments
Proficiency with Microsoft office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Salary Description
$161, 187.00 - $230,598.00 depending on experience
