MAG Systems Engineer - Senior in Lexington Park, Maryland
Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is hiring for a Systems Engineer - Senior with a current TOP SECRET clearance for Webster Outlying Field (WOLF), MD.
This position will manage and support a high level NAWCAD program while providing Research, design, develop, test, or supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial industrial, military, or scientific use.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to :
Provideengineering analysis,requirements definition, solution engineering,logisticsplanning, and Test and Evaluation (T&E)for SOF C5ISR systems
Assistwithidentifyingnewprojects that support fabrication, integration, andmodification of SOF C5ISR systems that are fielded and out-of-production including planning,kitting, and engineering changes as well as maintenance of installation plans and checkoutprocedures that provide support for operational sustainment
Providesystemengineering, system fabrication, integration, modification, system delivery and installation, systemsupport, and technical supportfor C5ISR systems for vehicles
DevelopEngineering Change Proposals(ECP), developmental testing support, and material research and tracking for critical hardwareof SOF C5ISR systems thatare in production, modernization, and modification phases
Support tasksassociated with conducting site surveys and reviewing existing surveys of relevant facilities, platforms,systems, locations, and units andconsequentlyidentifyrequirements and constraints toinclude:spaceconsiderations, security constraints, human factors, operational environment, and capabilities
Supportthe design or redesign of system architectures to integrate new and emerging technologies into SOFC5ISR systems
Provideinputs todesigns;modifytechnical reports, drawings, and material lists; andparticipatein meetings thatrequire system designexpertisesuch as technical reviews, functional and physical configuration audits,and conferences/presentations
Support the development of DoD and USSOCOMtechnical and programmatic documentation for SOF C5ISR systems
Requirements
Experience
10 or more years of recent and relevant experience within Navy and other DoD organizations in Systems Engineering Support. Of the 10 or more years of experience required, at least eight of those years of experience must be with SOF C5ISR systems as a systems engineer
Research, design, develop, test, or supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial industrial, military, or scientific use
Experience in managing a small, technical team
Education
- Master's Degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, or other Technical field
Other Requirements
- Must have an active DoD Top Secret Clearance

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $115,000 to $145,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
