Job Summary and Requirements
Local Lexington Site Contractor is seeking a Project Manager. Candidate should be familiar with reading and interpret civil engineering plans for site development, possess the ability to communicate and work closely with the foreman and superintendents on the jobs as well as municipality employees and other project managers and customers. The Project Manager's time will be spent part of the time in the field on a construction site and part of the time in the office as the need of the business dictates. At least 2 years experience in site construction is required. Job duties will include assisting field foremen with ordering materials, maintaining good working relationships with customers and inspectors, troubleshooting issues on jobs, approving invoicing for time and materials, setting up and attending inspections on jobs with local municipalities and moving all required paperwork towards finalization and other duties as the job dictates.
Candidate should have the ability to manage multiple jobs; coordinate with project owners and engineers and be able to produce and submit billings.
This is a salaried position based on 40-50 hours per week. Benefits include: company paid health insurance effective the first of the month following 60 days of service, company paid life insurance after 90 days, paid holidays after 90 days, 2 weeks vacation after one year and eligibility to participate in company-sponsored 401K plan after one year of service.
