Description of Job: The Manager, Supply Chain Planning is responsible for aligning end-to-end Supply Chain balancing Customer Service and Cost, according to VBC strategy. This role will lead the master production schedule(“MPS”) strategy, including the 24 month horizon of master production plan (“MPR”) projection, stock policies by SKU, the MPS tool and the MPR KPI to measure adherence of our execution and operations vs plan. This role will own our relationship with our manufacturing facilities and tollers to ensure operational excellence within the supply chain. In addition, this role will manage supply chain performance, capability, flexibility, resources, supply financials & alternative supply scenarios. You will be responsible for driving the results for Supply Chain Planning and directly manage the people and processes to achieve those goals and objectives.
Principal Responsibilities:
Accountable for ensuring end-to-end operations are successfully planned and executed to meet all customer expectations including:
Inventory strategy optimized across the supply chain network to ensure supply and minimize costs
Supplier production
Production Planning, and Inventory levels,
Coordinated communications strategy across the supply chain network
Ensuring quality and timeliness of inputs, outputs, and deliverables to meet customer expectations
Identify potential constraints and/or exposure and create recommended contingency plans to mitigate or minimize risks
Accountable for developing/achieving Supply Chain Adherence plan among Supply Network
Ensure operational excellence with thought leadership, creative problem solving and proactive focus on continuous improvement
Developing Supply Chain Strategies for Active Ingredients, Production Plan, Package Plan to balance Customer Service and cost
Leading Supply Chain Planning Discussion through integrated Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) – Short Term Planning (0-3 months)
Preparing/Providing inputs and recommendations for Complex Supply Chain Capacity Planning, which is part of IBP/S&OP monthly process
Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with customers, internal cross-functional teams, offshore teams, and external partners
Responsible for setting and managing expectations with internal and external customers; able to successfully navigate high-pressure internal customer interaction
Manage capacity planning information resulting from the new or updated demand plan, review material availability and any lead time issues, manage inventory, financial issues arising from production, and other opportunities related to new product introductions and product obsolescence
Review and consider MCPs (Manufacturing Capacity Plans) – rates, planned downtime, shifts, etc. to consolidate an integrated production plan by SKU by product segment volume/period, including all changes and/or updates coming from PMR (Portfolio Management Review) and DMR (Demand Management Review)
Implement and lead the RCCP (Rough Cut Capacity Planning) meeting/process
Responsible for driving improvements in the Product Availability report
Responsible for practicing collaboration with cross-functional teams, root cause analysis, continuous improvement action plans
Accountable for developing talent, creating high performing teams, and creating positive, collaborative, and empowering work environment.

Team player at executive levels to collaborate with business units and functional partners
Solid operational management and general business skills
Comfortable and capable of communicating strategy and results to business leadership and senior management
Experience:
A minimum of eight (8) years of supply chain experience including supply chain planning, master scheduling, materials management, and demand planning required
S&OP experience is required
Ability to be highly detail oriented with outstanding follow-up skills required
Strong knowledge of supply planning process. Ag-Chem experience is a plus
Strong analytical skills and advanced knowledge of Excel are required
APICS certification or ability/willingness to obtain is a plus.
Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices, and procedures is preferred
Working in a global, matrixed environment with a lot of independence under limited supervision is preferred
Minimum of five (5) years of People Management experience required
Minimum six (6) years experience with SAP required
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, or Supply Chain related field is required
Travel: Travel up to 10-15% may be required, including limited international travel
