Position: Accounting Clerk 1 Department of Public Works

Salary Range:  Starting pay is $21.95 per hour

Job Responsibilities:  In addition to the following, performs other related duties as requires: Under general supervision, performs financial transactions; operates computer terminal to enter, produce or verify information; performs related clerical activities; performs public relations activities; performs record-keeping functions; prepares variety of material from rough draft, recording or written or oral instruction; performs facility, equipment and supplies and functions; performs related duties as required.

Necessary Qualifications: The minimum acceptable qualifications for this position are: Completion of High School education or GED and two (2) years of sub-professional public accounting experience or equivalent.
