The Powell Company has immediate openings for full-time drivers. Drivers are home evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities: 

• Drivers work day shift and are home evenings and weekends
• Our second shift warehouse crew will load your truck
• We deliver to restaurants, nursing homes, schools, hospital and factories
• Delivery drops can require a pallet drop at a dock or items being taken in a back door by a two-wheel dolly and dropped off
• Customer Service and our Operations Team are available for any needs on your route. They are one call away to address any needs or concerns you or a customer may have during a delivery
• After completing your final stop you return to the facility and note any issues or concerns. Any product in need of return will be handled at that time
• Our driver's then return their signed paperwork and check in with the Ops Manager

Our drivers our one of the most frequently seen employees with our customers so being courteous and customer focused are a must. We provide uniforms and have a shoe/boot replacement program free of charge. Good hygiene and a pleasant demeanor are expected.

Qualifications:

• Previous driving/delivery experience is a plus but not required
• Drivers must possess a Valid Class A,B or D license (Standard Driving License)
• If you can drive a car you can drive 90% of our truck/sprinter fleet!!!
• Drivers must pass a DOT physical and drug screen
• High School diploma/GED
