The Board has identified the following qualifications as having particular importance for the position of Intervention Specialist:

• Mild/Moderate Intervention Specialist License, *Moderate/Intensive preferred  
• Experience with students who demonstrate significant cognitive disabilities and autism  
• Responsibility and supervision of paraprofessional aide(s)
