Our Continuous improvement group plays an important role in driving that transformation.

Hexagon Agility, a leading global provider of clean fuel solutions, is driving the energy transformation in the transport sector. Our technology enables hard to decarbonize segments – such as trucks and buses – to move from diesel to cleaner fuel alternatives.

We are looking for an ambitious and driven colleague that wants to work closely with our global CI Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with enterprise business areas at the operational and corporate level to drive process improvements, compliance standards and strategies for consistent, repeatable, and detailed execution

  • Implement Continuous Improvement initiatives to help ensure the continuation of streamlined processes to create a sustainable, lean organization

  • Analyze ambiguous problems utilizing demonstrated proficiency of lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, standard work, Six Sigma, 5S and other lean tools

  • Manage and lead multiple Continuous Improvement/Industrial Engineering projects with minimal guidance

  • Develop and implement project plans to achieve Future State

  • Leads Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and other Continuous Improvement activities ensuring projects are done according to budget and timelines

  • Conduct time studies, develop and document work standards, and enhance line balancing to optimize workflow and drive throughput and productivity improvements

  • Develop/implement metrics supporting lean manufacturing philosophy to track process improvements and cost reductions

  • Develop standards for process confirmation using sustainable problem solving

  • Support and drives training of others with focus on lean manufacturing techniques

  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

  • Other duties as required and assigned

Education Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related engineering field

  • Master’s degree in related Engineering field or MBA preferred, but not required

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of progressive, manufacturing process design and continuous improvement experience

  • Experience in the automotive industry a plus

Skills and qualifications

  • Must have strong problem-solving skills and a desire to create solutions

  • Must be efficient and effective in time, quality and cost management

  • Proven experience working on a cross-functional team with strong ability to influence/motivate others to achieve results

  • Must have demonstrated and effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to professionally interact with internal and external customers

  • Prior experience working under tight deadlines with shifting priorities

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions with ability to deal with abstract and concrete variables

  • Proficient in statistical analysis of processes and understands how and when to apply them based on the situation and specific needs

  • Moderation and training skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively with management direction

  • Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite, email and web-based navigation
